How To Brew The Perfect Cup Of Coffee

Coffee brewing is unique because it's not only a science, but also an art. Here at TeeBox we like to encourage artistic, creative styles in terms of ratios of coffee to water, your go-to grind of choice, and brewing method so you can discover your very best morning coffee ritual.

If you have no clue where to start, we are more than happy to provide you our preferred ratio.

The ratio TeeBox recommends using is for every 8 or so grams of ground coffee (about one tablespoon) for every 150 grams/ml of water. Perhaps consider investing in a scale for measuring your coffee and water if you'd like to be precise. Just as you would guess, use more coffee grounds for a stronger brew, and less coffee for something more gentle and easy going. For hot coffee, we recommend always use fresh, cold, filtered water and to heat it to around 195-205 degrees Fahrenheit.

For cold brew, use cold or room temperature fresh, filtered water. Most brew methods work best with medium-fine ground coffee, but techniques like aeropress require a finer grind, while others, like French press require a coarse grind.

Remember, just do you! And find which brew method works best for your morning ritual! Enjoy and go low!
